19-20 Girls Basketball Registration

Welcome to the 19-20 Girls Basketball Registration!

PYAA offers girls basketball to youth in grades 3rd through 8th grade. Our third grade girls basketball program participates in a program through the YMCA. The girls will practice at CFC and than have Saturday morning games at the YMCA in January and February. Grades 4-8th will participate in the Great Northwest Basketball League. Through this league each team will travel to tournaments based on where the GNBL schedules your team to play. There are usually three to four games per tournament. Practices will be held at CFC. All practices will be scheduled based on the coaches availability as well as the gym availability.

This registration session will allow you to complete contact information, sign up for participation, and submit payment. Please read through each page carefully to ensure that all information is provided accurately. To complete registration through our secure site, please have your Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or checking account information available.  Following the completion of this registration, you will see a charge on your account from PYAA Payment.

  • Turn in a $90 dollar volunteer deposit per child participating in (4th-8th grade PYAA basketball)

-The $90 dollar volunteer deposit is for making sure people fulfill their volunteer requirements.  The PYAA will host GNBL tournaments at CFC for our teams. During these tournaments  are when volunteers are needed to make the tournament run smoothly and efficiently. Volunteer Requirements will be determined by the number of basketball participants total for 4th - 8th grade, the number of tournaments, and the number of shifts. Parents will be required to volunteer a certain number of shifts (decided by the PYAA board), and bake a dozen baked goods to sell in the concession stand. When the PYAA decides the volunteer requirement you will be notified and have the opportunity to sign up for the tournament and shifts you would like to work. This year there will be a deadline for signing up. If you do not sign up by the deadline your $90 dollar deposit will be cashed in order to hire someone to work in your place.

Forms are attached and labeled below. Forms can be turned Into your child's coach or Melanie Ganschow (PYAA Sports Director). All forms must be turned in prior to your child practicing. If not they will not be allowed to practice.

Girls Basketball

If your child is participating in 3rd, 4th or 6th Grade Girl's basketball  you will notice a larger registration fee. The reason why  is because there was not a volunteer coach that came forward therefore PYAA looked and  found a knowledgable coach that would coach for a fee. Parents of that team's participants will need to pay an extra $50 dollar fee to pay the coach. If any questions or concerns please let Melanie Ganschow know, contact information is listed below. Should someone volunteer the coach fee will be refunded to you. Thank you!
